I asked Brother Parks to be the keynote speaker at a conference that was called "Conversation with Brothers". The focus of the conference was to address the challenges that African American boys face in our county. I asked him to speak on what it takes to be successful and he did. I know for a fact that Jonathan did not have pre-written speech save for a just a few notes he jotted down during the conference. I say all that to say that Jonathan simply spoke from the heart and he did an amazing job. Jonathan has the ability to feed of the synergy of the audience and build a tailor made speech to the people that will speak to their hearts and minds. Not too many people have that rare gift, but Jonathan does and he uses his gift to give back to others. I am still hearing from people who attended our conference on how much they enjoyed Brother Parks. I can honestly say that he is the embodiment of success. From his amazing testimony to who he has become now. It is my prayer that he will continue to be used as a light and will impact countless others like he has impacted me. -Alejandro C.
